Multiple members have reported issues with image cropping on both cover images and image uploads. Cropping on cover images can temporarily we resolved by encouraging members to upload photos without graphic/text overlays. For image uploads, however, we need to provide clearer guidelines on image sizes that work across multiple devices.

I'll make a separate dev ticket for implementing any size of an image in a post. As for the cover images - Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter all have their standards and ratio for the cover images. I thought users are quite used to those standards?

For post images uploads, I think we never intended them to be of a certain ratio. And with post order changes during June Sprint, the images can be as long as the users want them to be really - see screenshot example and in Figma here:
