Defaulting to an empty ‘posting in’ box with a red error when no selection made after clicking ‘post’.

We already have this for ‘new event’ on the first time you load staging.

This doesn't appear to be on staging. If I hard refresh chrome (Mac) and then i click on either home page or a group, there is, by default, a group selected in the 'posting in' box. The intent is to have this box empty by default (except if you access the 'write a post' modal via a group - in which case, that group should be selected by default).

I thought the intent was to have the box have 'something' by default? The way it _was_ it didnt have anything by default

Ah wires crossed. The intent is to have it empty as default (unless you're accessing the 'write a post/event' modal from a group. On production as it stands, we have it default as standard when you first enter the platform. However, if you click off the modal and then open the modal again, it automatically populates it with a group. This ticket was aiming to avoid this so it defaults to empty even after you've clicked around the platform. @michael

The box at the top that says 'select' is what we have atm on staging (the first time you load the page) and create an event using the button near the top of the home page - it looks good.

Perhaps the only exception to this should be if you are on a group and you click 'create a post' — in this situation, the default should be to 'post in' the group that you're currently on.
